Escultor, dibujante, profesor y promotor de la plástica santiaguera. Nació el 22 de octubre de 1947. Era hijo del fallecido pintor Antonio Ferrer Cabello, el "Decano de los Pintores Santiagueros". Coautor del Conjunto Monumentario de la Plaza de la Revolución “Antonio Maceo”(del cual fue diseñador principal), y el monumento a Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, entre otros.Su obra goza de reconocido prestigio nacional e internacional. Ocupó cargos directivos en instituciones de las artes plásticas en la provincia. Fue fundador del Taller Cultural y ocupó diversos cargos en las insticiones culturales de la provincia, entre ellos, el de director del Museo Emilio Bacardí. Fue además Presidente del CODEMA. Fue galardonado con las distinciones "Por la Cultura Nacional" y "Raúl Gómez García", y la Placa José María Heredia. Falleció en Santiago de Cuba el 1 de febrero del 2007.

He was the son of the late painter Antonio Ferrer Cabello, the "Dean of the Santiagueros Painters". Coauthor of Set Monumentario Revolution Square "Antonio Maceo" (he was the lead designer), and the monument to Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, among others. His work enjoys national and international renown. He held positions in the visual arts institutions in the province. He founded the Cultural Workshop and held various positions in the cultural institutions of the province, including the director Emilio Bacardi Museum. He was also President of CODEMA. He was awarded the distinctions "National Culture Award" and "Raúl Gómez García", and José María Heredia plate. He died in Santiago de Cuba on February 1, 2007.
