Alexis Lago (Havana, Cuba, 1962) studied painting at San Alejandro Academy of Art, in Havana. He had previously graduated as a biochemist at the University of Havana.
His work has been exhibited in personal and collective shows in Latin America, The United States and Europe. Many of his paintings are part of private collections worldwide.
He has also illustrated books for children and youngsters. Currently, he lives and works in United States and Barcelona, Spain.
