Hector Molne

Hector Molne (b.1935)

He was born on March 3, 1935, in Camaguey, Cuba. He studied at the Escuela de Arts Palsticas in Camaguey. He was later awarded a scholarship to study at the La Grande Chaumiere in Paris. Molne has had numerous exhibitions in Cuba, Costa Rica, LA and Miami where he settled.

Molné has had numerous individual exhibitions in Cuba, Costa Rica, Los Angeles and Miami and has participated in important group exhibitions of Cuban art in Havana, Camaguey, France, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Costa Rica and the U.S. His work is always featured at Nova Galleries and Eduardo Padron Art in Coral Gables, Florida. His works are regularly auctioned at Sotheby's, NY where it always sells well. He currently lives in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Nació el 3 de marzo de 1935, en Camaguey, Cuba. Estudió en la Escuela de Artes Palsticas en Camagüey. Más tarde recibió una beca para estudiar en la Chaumiere La Grande, en París. Molne ha realizado numerosas exposiciones en Cuba, Costa Rica, Los Ángeles y Miami donde se radicó.

Molné ha realizado numerosas exposiciones individuales en Cuba, Costa Rica, Los Ángeles y Miami y ha participado en importantes exposiciones colectivas de arte cubano en La Habana, Camagüey, Francia, Europa del Este, Escandinavia, Costa Rica y EE.UU. Su obra siempre aparece en la Nova Galerías y Eduardo Padrón de Arte en Coral Gables, Florida. Sus obras son regularmente subastada en Sotheby de Nueva York, donde siempre se vende bien. Actualmente vive en San José, Costa Rica.
