Felix Gonzalez Sanchez was born in Havana, Cuba.Reside in the United States since 1980.Is a Graduate of the San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts ( 1971-1975), in Havana Cuba. His Works presents scenes of social commentary or Cuban customs, reflecting his serious intent as an artist.

Felix is a serious folkloric artist who chooses to use humor in the depiction of traditional Cuban customs and social commentaries. His mediums include oil on canvas, drawings and papier - machie sculptures. The quality of his work has earned him international recognition among collectors, galleries and museums. He has been widely published and exhibited in museums. His work was selected and included in: Americanos: Latino Life in the United States
The above mentioned book was published by little Brown and Company and is sponsored by the Smithonian Institution. This exhibition is currently traveling throughout museums in the U.S. His work is represented in numerous private and public international collections.
