Felix Gonzalez Sanchez

Felix Gonzalez Sanchez was born in Havana, Cuba.Reside in the United States since 1980.Is a Graduate of the San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts ( 1971-1975), in Havana Cuba. His Works presents scenes of social commentary or Cuban customs, reflecting his serious intent as an artist.
Born in Cuba, Felix Gonzalez- Sanchez is a graduate of the San Alejandro National Academy of fine Arts in Havana, Cuba. He has made South Florida his home for over twenty years. Felix is a serious folkloric artist who chooses to use humor in the depiction of traditional Cuban customs and social commentaries. His mediums include oil on canvas, drawings and papier - machie sculptures. The quality of his work has earned him international recognition among collectors, galleries and museums. He has been widely published  and exhibited in museums. His work was selected and included in: Americanos: Latino Life in the United States
The above mentioned book was published by little Brown and Company and is sponsored by the Smithonian Institution. This exhibition is currently traveling throughout  museums in the U.S. His work is represented in numerous private and public  international collections.

Nacio en la Havana, Cuba. Reside en los Estados unidos desde 1980. Es graduado de la Academia Nacional de San Alejandro ( 1971- 1975) en la Havana, Cuba. Su obra presenta en cada composicion una estampa costumbrista o comentario social que indica el sentido de este joven artista.
Nacido en Cuba , felix Gonzalez- Sanchez es graduado de la Academia Nacional de Bellas Artes de San Alejandro de la Habana, Cuba. Por mas de veinte anos, el ha hecho el sur de la Florida su hogar.Felix es artista floklorico que utilza el humor para representar las costumbres tradicionales y sociales del pueblo cubano.Sus medios de trabajo son el oleo sobre tela, dibujos y esculturas de papier- machie. La calidad de su trabajo le ha otorgado el reconocimientos internacionales entre coleccionistas, galeristas y museos. Fue seleccionado e incluido en : Americanos : La Vida Latina en los Estados Unidos
Nativo de la habana, Cuba, Fleix Gonzalez Sanchez pinta desde su infancia, Graduado de la Academia de Artes Plasticas San Alejandro en la Habana, vive en Miami desde 1980. Gozalez Sanchez presenta escenas de contenido social relacionadas con tradiciones cubanas mientras refleja una serie intencion como artista y sus anoranzas como exiliado. Lo primero en impactarnos son sus brillantes colores y su buen humor. Sus medios incluyen aceite en lienzo, dibujos y esculturas de papier- mache. Su talento artistico ha recibido reconocimiento internacional entre coleccionistas, galerias y museos. Sus obras se han publicado y exhibido ampliamente.

Felix Gonzalez born in Havana in 1953. A painter since childhood, graduated from San Alejandro Academy of the Arts in Havana, Cuba in 1975.The foremost art institute in Cuba. After graduation he became an art instructor at the Ruben Martinez Villena Institute in Havana. He arrived in the United States in 1980, participating in many  colletive and individual exhibitions.
