Luis Dennis Gallardo Castro was Born on April 14, 1971 in Santiago de Cuba. He is a graduate of the Provincial School of Plastic Arts "José Joaquín Tejada" in 1990 in the specialty of Drawing-Painting. He has served as a restorer specializing in easel painting and is responsible for preserving the heritage of the Catholic Church in Santiago de Cuba.
His work has been featured in a variety of exhibits including a personal exhibit "Mother of all Cubans", SBM Cathedral of Santiago de Cuba. Group exhibit "Meeting for Christmas," Animation Claretian Center, Santiago de Cuba, December. III National Exhibition of Contemporary Cuban Religious Art, National Exhibition of the Bicentennial of the Birth of José María Heredia, December. Personal exhibit "Light of the World" Athenaeum Gallery, March. International Exhibition "Arte Cubano", Kingston, Jamaica, May.
He has works in private collections in Cuba, Argentina, Brazil, Holland, Germany, Spain, Italy, USA and Canada. He has received the following awards; in 2002 he earned third place in the III National Exhibition of Contemporary Cuban Religious Art.
