Pintor artistico de formacion
autodidacta. Desde nino dedicaba horas a pintar pero continuo sus
estudios normales hasta el pre-universitario. Por un ano fue instructor de arte
y dirigio Ia galeria municipal al tiempo que estudiaba como instructor. Un
desabrupto
incidente en
1986 le hizo abandonar los estudios y el trabajo hasta el 1988 que se mudo a Ia
comunidad artistic en el parque Baconao Santiago de cuba, un pequeno Iugar con
15 casas donde habitan otros artistas y pintores. Alli en un pequeno ostracismo
y mas de 20 anos de trabajo profesional estudio en practica a los clasicos y lo
dedico a lograr un estilo personal extraido de Ia imaginacion y los temas
religiosos biblicos.

pinturas han sido favorecidas por la crítica internacional destacando el
retrato.
Reconocimientos
importantes: Ha realizado siete exposiciones personates y
varias colectivas, nacionales e internacionales, sus obras han sido adquiridas
por coleccionistas de varias partes del mundo.

donde vive y trabaja: Vive en Santiago de Cuba.
Labora como artista plastico en la comunidad artística de Playa Berraco en
Baconao, Santiago de Cuba. Es trabajador del consejo provincial de las
artes plasticas desde mayo de 1984. Pinta y expone de
manera independiente.

Training: Self-taught artistic painter. Since childhood he spent hours painting but continued his normal studies to pre-university. For a year he was an instructor of art and directed the municipal gallery while studying as an instructor himself. An abrupt incident in 1986 forced him to leave school and work until 1988 at which time he moved to the artistic community at the Baconao Park in Santiago de Cuba, a small village with only 15 houses inhabited by other artists and painters. There in a small ostracism and after 20 years of professional work he exhaustedly studied the classics and dedicates his time to achieve a personal style full of imagination extracted from biblical and religious themes.

Important Recognitions: Has made seven personates and several collective exhibitions, national and international, his works have been acquired by collectors from around the world.
