Roberto Fabelo (b1950)

Roberto Fabelo, who was born in the eastern province of Camaguey in 1950, has an impressive resume with more than 24 individual and some 15 collective exhibitions. His excellently-made works, where fantastic figurations and visions prevail, have been exhibited in Sweden, Mexico, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Norway, Denmark, the United States, India and France.

Fabelo, who is considered the best Cuban draftsman alive, has shown a preference for human heads and faces in fantastic creatures intended to reinforce the nature of those beings that, as he has said, he creates by carefully looking at people day by day.
